Two years ago the Trinity flooded and had shot my most downloaded picture of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge reflection. I did not have the equipment at that time to shoot this image.
When my friend Yogesh Mhatre agreed to join me for an early morning shoot of the Dallas skyline, I was hoping the flood waters had not receded too much and the winds were not too strong. I was also greedy for some nice clouds. The glow of the morning sun coming from the right made up for the lack of cloud cover. The ready to be switched off city lights completed the scene we do not get to see often around here.
Somewhere in the exact middle of the frame was where I had shot the monochrome night photo of the skyline last month.
