Just another wedding

I have not watched any part of it yet but this weekend, the whole world seems to be enthralled with the transatlantic nuptials that took place in Britain.

This picture however contains a wedding in progress, unheralded, no paparazzi, no TV cameras. Only spectators were just me and my friends from a distance.

We allowed space for the intimate wedding taking place front of the St. Olaf Kirke in Cranfills Gap, Texas. Attending the wedding were the couple getting married, the groom's mother, a priest, a photographer and his assistant.

Though the bluebonnets were gone by then there were still some wildflowers blooming on the grounds. As the newly weds rode off into the sunset, we prepared for a wonderful night of astrophotography.
