Peach schnapps and cranberry

This image was the last one taken at Oceanside, OR the same morning I shot my childish sounding "Candyfloss on the beach". As the day grew several minutes older, the sky graduated to a more grown up style.

The challenge here was to keep the tripod from sinking into the sand receding from underneath my feet. Oregon being on the west coast of United States, sunsets are the more exciting times for landscape photography but on this day, the sunlight coming in from my right did exactly what one could hope for.

A three hour rest and 4am wake up was well worth it,
